I retired from Civil Trial Law several years ago, following frequent heart attacks. In my youth, I thought working 24/7 was the better approach. My health took the hit. My wonderful wife has stood with me through good times and bad. She always has great council on which I rely.
My serious study of the Bible began around 1990. My wife survived cancer and her mother passed from cancer the year before. Mortality was no longer something in the future and my motivation to KNOW the TRUTH was heightened.
The result of much prayer, reading, and research, my progress to greater understanding has emerged. Maturing in faith has taken the same path as life itself. It took some time for me to recognize that God's word is all about progressive revelation. As my understanding has grown, it makes sense not to have revealed the fullness of His plan from the beginning. Yes, there are hints, signs, symbols, and outright disclosures as people progressed and experience prepared them to deal with the next revelation of truth.
What is shared within this site are the result of many years of preparation, research, and teaching. I will share my understandings without reference to any dogma, doctrine, or opinion of any particular denomination. My firm belief is that God expects each individual to establish and mature their personal and intimate relationship with Christ Jesus while living in this Earth. It is not a matter for a corporate organization as each of us must account for the deeds done while here - Matthew 12:35-37.
Regardless of your Church affiliation, we welcome you to our site and invite you to reason with us on this journey of discovering God's inerrant truth.
God bless you, Richard
